"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." (Romans 12:1)
When you think of surrendering, you probably don’t think of it as a good thing. Surrendering often connotes giving up or losing a battle, and in a world that often celebrates victory, we may not actively seek opportunities for surrender. But when we are surrendering to God, it is much different. God is asking us to trust Him with our lives. Knowing God is our loving, holy, and heavenly Father, He is asking us to give up control of our lives and allow Him to lead us. We can trust Him with our families, our future, and even our fears. Don’t hold back; allow God to be the Lord over your life. Will you surrender your life? Will you surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ? Don’t let fear or pride stop you from doing so.
