"Call unto Me, and I will answer Thee, and shew Thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” (Jeremiah 33:3) We always hear people say, “God hears your prayers,” but it usually doesn’t sink in like it should. Sometimes when we pray, we feel like we are just talking to the ceiling and that we are wasting our time and our words. But this verse tells us that God is listening and He wants to give us His wisdom. The God who created the universe wants to hear what you have to say. When we realize He is actually listening to us and wants to answer our prayers, we want to pray to Him more. The more we pray, the more we talk to God, the stronger our faith becomes. Today, put aside any desire to say the “right words,” and just be honest before God. Confess any fears or anxiety you may be experiencing. Don’t forget to thank Him for the blessings you have in your life. |
